Privacy Policy
Effective 9 October 2026 · Applies to Pinrove for Mac, the Pinrove Remote iPhone app and pinrove.xyz
Pinrove is made by me more cool Pty Ltd, Australia ("we"). We built Pinrove so that your location changes happen between your own devices — not through us. This policy explains exactly what data is involved.
Pinrove Remote (iPhone app)
- We do not collect any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
- The app talks only to your own Mac running Pinrove, on your local network. iOS asks for Local Network permission for this. Nothing is sent to our servers.
- When you pair, a pairing token is stored on your iPhone only, so you don't have to re-enter the code.
- Map search uses Apple Maps. The text you search for is sent to Apple and handled under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Pinrove for Mac
- Pinrove runs locally on your Mac. Location changes go directly from your Mac to your iPhone and never pass through our servers.
- Licence codes are verified offline on your Mac.
- On first connection, Pinrove downloads Apple's device support file directly from Apple's servers.
- Map search uses Apple Maps, as above.
- If you choose to export a diagnostics report, it is saved to your Mac with device identifiers removed. It is only sent to us if you decide to email it.
Purchases on pinrove.xyz
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Stripe shares your email address with us so we can send your licence code. The email is delivered through our email provider (Resend).
- We keep purchase records (email, plan, date) as required for tax and accounting. We do not sell them or use them for marketing.
Website
pinrove.xyz uses no analytics and no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and reliability.
Children
Pinrove is not directed at children under 13.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete the purchase information we hold about you by emailing support@memorecool.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
